Class feedback
What I liked most about Broadcast Technology is that I got experience working in the TV studio and with the technology behind the camera. What I didn't like about the class is that its not a full year class and that it went by so fast. My favorite project is the final project we did. I really enjoyed the Humans of Ladue project because I learned so much. I learned how you are supposed to do a interview how a wireless mic works and I learned how to edit a video and add things to the video. What I would have liked to do differently is to be able to get into the TV studio and do more in there. I am really interested in taking Broadcast Technology two but since it is my last year at Ladue I sadly won't be able to. It just won't fit into my schedule. I have REALLY enjoyed taking Broadcast Technology and I really suggest to anyone who likes technology to take the class if you have time to. I would like to give a huge shout out to Mr Goble and how awesome of a teacher he is and how supportive he is with all of his students. Thank you for a great class!
Humans Of Ladue Video Story
I interviewed Chef April Dalton and it was a wonderful experience. It was very interesting hearing about her work before she came to Ladue and why she chose Ladue. When I was Editing the final project I was told to focus on one major part of the interview so I watched the interview a good five times. I sat there and thought out of all of the things she talked and explained I had to just pick one subject. So I went towards the end of the interview and watched again. I finally came across where she talked about her cooking classes and a project her students were working on. So I had her go into detail about the project they worked on. She said that they did a food truck unit where they made food and sold it like a food truck.
My six word story
When I was planning my six word story I wasn't going to use the words I currently have but in the making of my first story it was to hard to get the perfect shots so match the video. So one day there was a cook off in the cooking room across the hall and thought it would be cool to film. Deadlines hit for my six word story and I had nothing so I sat there and thought of what I could do. That's when Mr. Gobel came over to me and helped me think of something. He said I got good shots in the cooking room why don't I use those. So I went into the computer lab and looked through my shots like 10 times and then it clicked. "Cooking's hard but it's worth it" so I looked through the shots again and found the perfect shots. Now I. have my Six word story and hope you enjoy it.
Six word stories
What I have learned about six word stories are they are short but they can pack a punch. Six words can say a lot. It could be sad, happy or informational. here are some ideas I found that I like.
Two wives, one funeral, no tears.
Unlock phone.. nothing.. lock phone.. loneliness.
All of these give a special meaning to someone or something.
Here is a website I found for some six word stories site.

TV studio blog entry #2
What I have learned about the television studio is that it’s a challenge. The little things count. You need to have focus at all times or you could miss something. When you are on camera you need to be focused on the camera. You need to sit up straight and smile and be ready for something to change if needed. When you are on sound board you need to make sure that everything sounds right. When you are on the Technology board you need to watch the live video so you know when to switch angles or pull up a different screen. The teleprompter is important as well because you need to make sure you go the right speed so the person who is reading it isn’t going to fast or too slow.

What I have learned so far about a television studio production is it’s not as easy as you would think. There is a lot of behind the scenes stuff that you wouldn’t think happens that happens. There is a director, a floor director, sound people, people who have to run AJA. There is the struggle of trying to get everything to go correctly. You have to make sure the script is correct and is going the correct speed for the talents to read. The director have to be in control and have complete focus so everything will go smoothly. There are also the little details you need to keep an eye on. Everyone’s job serves a special purpose everyone’s job is very important. You can think not every job is important but you are wrong everything counts.
Iam Emily
This video is about me and my family. It shows the things I love. It shows my friends. It shows my sister. It shows the places I have traveled to. I have learned how hard it can be to edit something. I have also learned how special the finished product can be.
